I purchased the halo hair and clip in extension in sandy blond. The hair turned pinkish in color within a couple weeks. I had not washed it, only wore them a few times so no explanation of why. As expensive as this hair is that should not happen. When I emailed company about it.. the response was “there are a number of reasons that happens” and expected me to try and fix it which I didn’t want to put the money in coloring it when it was brand new

Hidden Crown actually answered my email and sent me a replacement topper which was really a surprise. But of course, I had already tweezed and shaped the original one enough so it looked decent and had to send that one back. So the replacement was no better. I HATE this topper. Still the same issues, I have had it now for a month and the hair is dry and brittle no matter what I do to it. Today I actually sprayed the oil directly on the hair because nothing was working and it looked horrible. The quality is just not the same and all the issues with the new cap still remain. Hidden Crown is no longer my GOTO for toppers, I am going to have to try a new place. Hopefully I will have some luck.

I have been wearing Hidden Crown Halo's and Topper's for several years. I have always loved them and they were my go to for toppers. Well I dont know what they did but the topper is absolutely horrible! They must have changed the monotop because it no longer molds to your head, it just stays stiff and doesn't fit to my scalp the way it did previously. And the hair!!! OMG its horrible! You cant curl it because its so dry it gets frizzy and stiff no matter what I put in it and the mask and oil they sent (at no charge) when I complained just makes it worse.

The wig they sent was a poorly made v part wig, it doesnt fit properly and the clips came loose within the first week. I had to sew them back on. Secondly, the unit sheds - A LOT! Clumps and clumps of hair were coming loose every time I brushed. Finally I have to brush A LOT. The hair becomes matted and tangled almost immediately after brushing. I contacted them to check if the hair is synthetic or if anything can be done and they have been incredibly unhelpful.

Beautiful hair delivered quickly with all the necessary tools to store it and free color swatches of the other shades I was interested in. I purchased the seamless clip-ins 12 inch dark auburn. The hair is silky smooth and beautiful. This is my first purchase of extensions of any type so I have to practice and figure out how to wear them. Edited to add: if you have fine, flat hair on top/sides, you should consider the halo extension instead. It is very hard to blend these and cover the clips without thicker hair to cover them up.

High quality hair that I love love love! I use their v-clip all of the time. I like it way better than my halo couture extension that cost more than Hidden Crown. Excited to try the messy bun next! Also, great customer service when I had questions about my order. Fast response and very helpful!

I was disappointed in the product received, but more than that, *extremely* disappointed in the lack of customer service. I was partially responsible for not understanding the fine-print. Having said that, I have written documentation stating the item was returnable (No restrictions indicated for a return). Turns out that is *not* true, even when they ship you an item you did not order & you do not receive the item you actually ordered. Please beware and I hope your experience is better than mine. I am out $180.00 with no useful product.

The negative reviews are making me question their origin because I have had the best experience with this brand. Even tho you must contact customer service thru text or email they are super prompt in getting back to you. I’m using their topper and it’s such a pleasure to work with and wear. I used to wear the Halo Couture brand but I grew tired of having to use a salon as the middleman so I’m thrilled to find Hidden Crown. I can’t speak to all their products but the topper is just lovely and natural. I’m a very happy customer.

Spent $1,500.00 on bayliage extentions from these thieves and with the first shampoo they are so tangled no way to fix them!! I have never had a problem washing my extentions in my life. I use shampoo made only for extentions and they always have turned out like new for 5 years prior to this mess! What a scam this place is, they are thieves selling a fraudulent product. They belong in jail for ripping hard working people off!! I take amazing care of my extentions and still have some from 4 1/2 years ago that look brand new. These extentions have been worn 4 times and are literally a giant knot the instant they touched the water to shampoo for the very first time!! This is unacceptable!! Hidden Crown should be sued and I am definitely going to be finding out what can be done to shut them down!! I hope you get exactly what you deserve and that all of the people you have scammed get the justice they deserve you awful people! I don't know how you sleep at night!!!

I also am extremely disappointed i was NOT even able to wear ponytail once and it was VERY expensive. Threw away $250.00 for something i could not even wear once

VERY Dissatisfied Costumer

I am so NOT impressed with 22” Layered Hidden Crown Halo Extensions #882 I purchased on 3/29/22 for almost $449 (plus the brush, shampoo & conditioner, hair mask, serum, oil, and heat protectant) totaling $611!! The hair is not $449 quality hair, it’s matting and tangling after just 3 to 4 washes. I bought ALL the Hidden Crown products to make sure I took EXCELLENT care of my extensions and they still shed, matt, and tangle! I have been using extensions for YEARS and take very good care of them, so there is absolutely no excuse why these are not wearable after only a few washes??! I see the extensions are now almost half of what I paid for them in March, and I see why. I RARELY write product reviews, but I am completely disappointed and dissatisfied with my $611 purchase and felt like people should know. When u spend that kind of money you expect quality and that’s not what I got!

Awful. These are the worst extensions I’ve tried. I think the 5-star reviews were paid for. The hair comes over processed and stretchy. I thought I could bring back to life with olaplex and care but nope, it was just too damaged. I’m back to wearing my 2+ year old Halo Couture. I really wanted to find a halo more affordable so first tried Sitting Pretty and now Hidden Crown, talk about an expensive experiment. Now if only Halo Couture would design a similar string as Hidden Crown, it’d be a winner all around,

Really good customer service! The Hidden Crown hair extentions are made of very high quality, and I have bought 3 already. They last long and really put your outfit and look together! Thank you!!

i have purchased tons of toppers and this is the worst design and quality. They have terrible customer service

I could not be more thrilled with my layered halo. The hair is super high-quality and installation took less than five minutes (and I am terrible at assembling anything). I have had sew-in extensions and halos since 2013, and this is the happiest I've been. Plus - I saved a ton of money because I'm used to buying through my hairdresser. Thank you, Hidden Crown! I will be buying more! UPDATE 2/8/22: I'm super sorry to say that although I loved my halo at first - it's now a tangled, matted mess. I've only washed it once and followed the brand's care instructions to the tee. I'm super careful, I use all the right tools. But the quality of the hair is now as dry and straw, and I'm so disappointed because I loved it so much at first. Within 10 minutes of wear, it tangles like crazy. I think these extensions might be great for a wedding or a single-use event, but definitely not for daily wear. :-(

I purchase a pony from hidden crown. I literally wore it 2 times. The third time BOTH OF THE HOOKS on the bungee broke off. Out $199.00 Hidden crown won’t respond to emails. Buyer beware.
