I got the halo hair and clip-in extensions in sandy blond. After just a couple of weeks, the color started to look pinkish. I hadn’t even washed them and had only worn them a few times, so I’m not sure what went wrong. For the price I paid, this shouldn’t be happening. When I reached out to the company, their reply was that there are several reasons this could occur, and they expected me to try to fix it myself. I really didn’t want to spend more money on dyeing it when it was brand new.

I was surprised when Hidden Crown actually replied to my email and sent me a replacement topper. But, of course, I had already tweezed and shaped the original one enough so it looked decent and had to send that one back. So the new one was no better. I really dislike this topper. The same problems persist; I've had it for a month now, and the hair remains dry and brittle no matter what I try. Today, I even sprayed oil directly onto the hair because nothing else was working, and it looked terrible. The quality just isn't what it used to be, and all the issues with the new cap are still there. Hidden Crown is no longer my go-to for toppers; I need to find a new place. Fingers crossed for better luck!

I've been using Hidden Crown Halo's and Toppers for several years and always loved them. They were my go-to for toppers. But I don't know what they did, but this topper is just awful! They must have changed the monotop because it no longer molds to my head; it just stays stiff and doesn't fit my scalp like it used to. And the hair!!! Oh my gosh, it's terrible! You can't curl it because it's so dry that it gets frizzy and stiff no matter what I use, and the mask and oil they sent (for free) when I complained just made it worse.

The wig I received was a shoddily constructed v part wig that doesn’t fit right, and the clips started coming off within just a week. I had to stitch them back on myself. On top of that, this unit sheds like crazy! Every time I brush it, I’m losing clumps of hair. And let me tell ya, I’ve gotta brush it constantly. The hair gets all matted and tangled almost right after I brush it. I reached out to them to find out if the hair is synthetic or if there’s anything that can be done, but they’ve been super unhelpful.

I received my beautiful hair super fast, along with all the essential tools for storage and some free color samples of other shades I was curious about. I got the 12-inch seamless clip-ins in dark auburn. The hair feels silky and looks stunning. Since this is my first time buying extensions, I need to practice a bit to learn how to wear them properly. Just a heads up: if your hair is fine and flat on the top or sides, you might want to think about getting the halo extension instead. Blending these can be tricky without thicker hair to hide the clips.

This hair is top-notch, and I absolutely adore it! I’m always using their v-clip. It’s way better than my halo couture extension, which was pricier than Hidden Crown. Can’t wait to give the messy bun a shot next! Plus, their customer service is fantastic; they were super quick to respond and really helpful when I had questions about my order.

I was let down by the item I got, but even more so by the poor customer support. I admit I should've paid more attention to the fine print. That said, I have proof showing the item could be returned (no restrictions mentioned for returns). Turns out that’s not the case, especially when they send you something you didn’t order and you don’t get what you actually wanted. Just a heads up, and I really hope your experience goes better than mine. I'm out $180.00 with nothing to show for it.

The bad reviews got me wondering where they're coming from because my experience with this brand has been fantastic. Even though you have to reach out to customer service via text or email, they respond super quickly. I'm really enjoying their topper; it's a joy to use and wear. I used to go for the Halo Couture brand, but I got fed up with needing a salon as the go-between, so I'm really excited to have discovered Hidden Crown. I can't comment on all their products, but the topper is just beautiful and looks so natural. I'm one very satisfied customer.

I spent $1,500 on bayliage extensions from these crooks, and after just one wash, they got so tangled there's no way to fix 'em! I've never had issues washing my extensions before. I always use shampoo specifically for extensions, and they've looked brand new for the last five years until this disaster! What a total scam this place is; they're just con artists selling a bogus product. They ought to be behind bars for cheating hardworking folks! I take great care of my extensions, and I still have some from four and a half years ago that look pristine. These extensions have only been worn four times, and they turned into a massive knot the moment they hit the water for the first shampoo! This is just not right! Hidden Crown should face a lawsuit, and I'm definitely going to see what can be done to put a stop to them! I hope you get what’s coming to you, and that all the people you’ve scammed find the justice they deserve, you terrible people! I can't fathom how you sleep at night!

I’m really let down that I couldn’t even sport a ponytail with it, and it cost a pretty penny. Just tossed $250.00 on something I couldn’t use even once.

I am really NOT happy with the 22” Layered Hidden Crown Halo Extensions #882 that I bought on 3/29/22 for nearly $449 (not to mention the brush, shampoo & conditioner, hair mask, serum, oil, and heat protectant) which brought the total to $611!! The hair quality is definitely not worth $449; it’s been matting and tangling after just 3 to 4 washes. I purchased ALL the Hidden Crown products to ensure I took GREAT care of my extensions, yet they still shed, matt, and tangle! I’ve been using extensions for YEARS and always treat them well, so there’s really no reason these should be unwearable after only a few washes?! Now I see the extensions are priced at almost half of what I paid back in March, and I totally understand why. I RARELY write reviews, but I’m super disappointed with my $611 purchase and felt it was important for others to know. When you drop that kind of cash, you expect quality, and that’s just not what I received!

Terrible experience. These extensions are the absolute worst I've ever used. Honestly, I suspect those 5-star ratings were bought. The hair feels overly processed and stretchy. I thought I could revive it with some olaplex and care, but nah, it was just too far gone. I'm back to my Halo Couture that I've had for over 2 years. I really wanted to find a more budget-friendly halo, so I first gave Sitting Pretty a shot and then Hidden Crown, which turned out to be a pricey trial. If only Halo Couture would create a similar string like Hidden Crown, it would be a total hit.

This is the most disappointing design and quality I've ever encountered in toppers. I've bought a bunch before, but this one takes the cake. Plus, their customer service is just awful.

I couldn't be happier with my layered halo at the start. The quality of the hair is top-notch, and I managed to install it in under five minutes (and trust me, I'm not great at putting things together). I've been using sew-in extensions and halos since 2013, and this is the most satisfied I've felt. Plus, I saved a bunch of cash since I usually buy through my hairdresser. Big thanks to Hidden Crown! I'm definitely gonna get more! UPDATE 2/8/22: I'm really bummed to report that even though I adored my halo initially, it’s now a tangled, matted disaster. I’ve only washed it once and followed the care instructions perfectly. I’m super cautious and use all the right tools. But now, the hair feels dry and straw-like, and I’m so let down because I was so in love with it at first. Within just 10 minutes of wearing it, it tangles like mad. I reckon these extensions might work well for a wedding or a one-time event, but they’re not cut out for everyday use. :-(

I bought a pony from hidden crown. I seriously only wore it twice. On the third go, BOTH HOOKS on the bungee snapped off. I'm out $199.00. Hidden crown is ignoring my emails. Just a heads up for other buyers.
